Danielle DiBenedetto
My name is Danielle DiBenedetto and I am accepting new patients in private practice as a Registered Psychological Associate in Santa Barbara, California.
I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy to individuals seeking to be in deeper touch with themselves and life.
My work is particularly suited for individuals seeking meaning, relational change, and intimacy. I especially work with concerns related to depression and anxiety, grief, mood and personality disorders, sexuality, gender and identity, spirituality, creativity, and generational trauma.
My practice is informed by psychoanalytic, liberation, post-Jungian, existential, and humanistic frameworks. My background as an Ayurvedic practitioner lends itself to a somatic lens-helping individuals build a deeper relationship between their experience and body. I am a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology.
I am available for both virtual sessions and in-person, with my office being located in downtown Santa Barbara.
You are welcome to contact me for an initial complimentary consultation to get a sense if our work together would be of value to you.
